I am not sure exactly when it happened, but our little girl suddenly became more independent, being able to sit on her own, spin around on her butt and reach for things. Obviously all of these enabled her to start to play. And play. And play. They say babies minds are like sponges and you can certainly see that when you watch Jaeden. She'll pick a toy and then study it intently, turning it over and around in her hands and even banging on it (or it with something else) to make noise. Her sense of exploration is evident in the fact that everyday objects are her favorite toys.

She does have her fair share of "real" toys, too, and will settle for those once and a while!
